The purpose of this organization is to collect, preserve and share with the public the art, artifacts, and documents relating to this area. We hope to inspire interest in the history, cultural heritage, technologies, and businesses that shaped local life and culture in Myerstown and Jackson Township.

In addition to that of a museum, the Myerstown Area Heritage Center and Museum has as its mission to become a gathering place for local events that recognize and continue Myerstown and Jackson Township traditions. Memorabilia and items of historic significance will be accepted by contacting us by email or Facebook.
